Marinara
Ingredients
- 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 (6 ounce) can of tomato paste
- 1 (10 ounce) can of diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (8 ounce) can of tomato sauce
- 2tsp of sugar
- 1tsp of chopped fresh basil
Directions
Heat the olive oil and add the tomato paste in a pan over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Stir in the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, add the sugar and simmer for 15 minutes, mashing the tomatoes and stirring occasionally. Let cool.
